Collageen drank met collageen poeder

Collagen drinks made with collagen powder

What is collagen?

Collagen is a protein the body makes itself. It is part of the connective tissue and is found in the skin, joints, bones, muscles and blood vessels, among other places. The body produces collagen through fibroblasts and breaks it down again with enzymes.

What is collagen powder?

Collagen powder is a food supplement based on hydrolysed collagen peptides. Hydrolysed means that the long protein chains have been cut into shorter ones through a gentle enzymatic process. That is why the powder dissolves well in almost any drink and is easy to fit into a daily morning routine.

Drinks with collagen powder

The practical advantage of a powder is that you can stir it into all sorts of drinks almost unnoticed. A scoop disappears not only into smoothies, juices and yoghurt drinks, but also dissolves easily in coffee and tea. That way you take your daily serving over breakfast.
